Many of the draft maps are missing trails, and some descriptions are out of date. ECOS will plan hikes to gather GPS data, but we’re asking for help from the community. If you notice missing info, we’d like to know. We’re particularly interested in GPS tracking files from your hikes.
Any tracking or fitness app can be used to generate .gpx track files, or follow these instructions for recording GPS tracks with your smartphone using Geo Tracker. Email GPS tracks, suggested edits for trail descriptions, or any other suggestions to [email protected]
