Connecting Tots to Nature

Connecting Tots to Nature returns with the warm weather! Beginning April 1, join ECOS on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. in Schenectady’s Central Park for a nature-based playgroup hosted by Play, Create & Explore. This child-led program offers a rotating slate of activities, including sensory play, process art, playdough invitations and science. We’ll get our hands and feet dirty and make new friends while we explore and learn about the natural world at our own pace. Themes include animal habitats, birds, toads, and insects.
Connecting Tots to Nature is open to children 12 months to five years, with close supervision from a caregiver. Siblings welcome. The program meets every Wednesday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. from April 1 through June 17. We meet under the trees next to the playground, across from the future SEEC building. This program meets rain or shine, so participants should be prepared for all weather! We follow the
Niskayuna school district for weather-related closings.
