Earth Day Bike Ride

Earth Day Bike Ride on the Vischer Ferry/ old Erie Canal Towpath Trails. Meet at the Whipple bridge in the Vischer Ferry preserve in Clifton Park (intersection of Van Vranken and Riverview Rd). We will ride along the towpath, with stops to examine how the former canal has transformed into a habitat for a diverse range of species.

The ride will be at a casual pace (12 mph) with a total distance of about 10 miles. The surface is primarily packed gravel so hybrid or gravel bikes are best, however road or mountain bikes are fine.
