ECOS Reads Book Club: Timefulness by Marcia Bjornerud

ECOS is sponsoring an in-person book club focused on reading mostly non-fiction books related to nature and the environment. Our first book will be “Timefulness: How Thinking Like a Geologist Can Help Save the World,” by Marcia Bjornerud, which gives an insightful perspective on the time scales that determine Earth processes. Such an understanding is vital to addressing current environmental issues such as global warming and the biodiversity crisis.

The next book and a volunteer to lead the discussion will be chosen by the participants at the end of each meeting. Mark your calendars for upcoming meetings on November 12, January 14, March 11, May 13 and July 8.
