Five Rivers, Delmar – Fall Nature Walks

SEPT. 27:  Five Rivers, Delmar.  Sigrin Newell, leader.  Gold and purple highlight the meadows of September.  Asters, goldenrod, and other composites fill the broad fields at Five Rivers.  These and the surrounding forests provide exceptional wildlife habitat and a sense of the primeval.  Directions: There are many different routes to Five Rivers, which is at 56 Game Farm Rd., off Rte. 308 between New Scotland Rd. and Delaware Ave.  (www.dec.ny.gov/education/1835.html)
