Our walk will meander along a babbling rivulet to admire and chronicle trees along our path. The trees we meet will include a diversity of both forest and landscape trees, each with a story to tell. We’ll stop and talk about their natural history, growth challenges, wildlife habitat, human uses through history, and fun facts to share with family and friends. Leader: Amy Mackenzie, Co-Chair of the Capital Region’s ReLeaf Committee and NYSDEC Urban Forester. Directions: We will meet in the parking lot next to the dog playground on Iroquois Way; the dog playground is across from the Central Park Rose Garden near the intersection of Wright and Central Parkway.
