One Schenectady: Union Street cleanup

Are you ready to have some fun, make a difference, and connect with some great people?! Come join us for the Union Street Clean Up! Volunteers will meet at the Stewart’s shop at Union and McClellan streets in Schenectady.

Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing* and get ready to have some fun!
* This is a rain or shine event – bring weather-appropriate outer-gear, and gloves if you have them (some will be provided). A backpack is always a welcome accessory. All volunteers will also need to have a signed waiver (we will provide but here’s a preview)
Project Goals:
* Clean up along Union Street

* Empower volunteers to make a difference in the community. We will bag trash so that city staff can easily remove it.
* Inspire civic pride and participation. The event will elevate awareness of civic organizations and invite volunteers and passersby to register to vote, and join the ONE Schenectady movement.
* Have fun together while building community!
