Join bird walk leader John Loz for a spring migration bird walk at this urban hotspot. For this walk we will look for early spring migration songbirds such as various sparrows, thrushes, and warblers, as well as corvids and hawks. The group will walk the roads of Vale Cemetery for about 2 miles round trip.
All levels of expertise are welcome to join these walks! Bring your binoculars if you have them, but if you do not own a pair, John will have a few binoculars to loan out for the walk.
Weather: We will run the walk in light rain or snow, but snowstorms or thunderstorms predicted for the morning of the walk will cancel.
Dress for the weather and wear comfortable and weather-proof footwear. *This event is geared towards teenagers and adults.
