Peak Spring Migration!

Join bird walk leader John Loz for a Spring Migration bird walk at this habitat known as the Schenectady Pine Barrens. For this walk we will look for spring migration songbirds, wading birds, and pine barrens specialties. The group will walk the trails around Delta Lake and into the woods for about 2-3 miles round trip.

All levels of expertise are welcome to join these walks! Bring your binoculars if you have them, but if you do not own a pair, John will have a few binoculars to loan out for the walk.

Weather: We will run the walk in light rain, but predicted thunderstorms for the morning of the walk will cancel.

Dress for the weather and wear comfortable footwear – hiking boots if possible. *This event is geared towards teenagers and adults, but well-behaved children are welcome.
