On Sunday, June 8, Carole Fraser will lead a learning session workshop demonstrating the tools and techniques needed to build expertise in trail assessment.
Currently, ECOS has completed guide material for Saratoga and Schenectady counties, showcasing several natural areas/preserves with options for trail access, trail information, and general information regarding mobility and amenities at each location. Behind each guide is an extensive process of measuring trail characteristics, recording key features, and documenting details about the trail to support a more accessible experience.
