This beautiful preserve contains eskers, a mature hemlock forest and streams. One hundred years ago this land was used for logging, maple sugar production and subsistence farming. The outing will be about 3 miles. With more snow coming on Thursday, this will be a snowshoe trip, but bring your traction device just in case.
