Karen Wang will lead a snowshoe hike from the Anderson Dog Park at the corner of Van Buren and Swaggertown Roads in Glenville at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4. We’ll hike a loop on wooded, snowy trails to Indian Meadows, explore a bit over there and then return alongside the stream where there should be plenty of animal tracks to look at. Total distance will be about three miles (with some small ups and downs) which should take a little less than two hours. Given the amount of snow we have now (which could be frozen and crusty by Tuesday) snowshoes will probably be the best traction devices to use (definitely no skis). Meet at the Anderson Dog Park parking lot at 9:30 a.m.. Contact Karen Wang at [email protected] or 518-399-3108 to sign up — hope to see you there!
To be included on our ski/snowshoe email list contact Roy and Sue at [email protected] Weekly details will be posted on the Members Facebook page.
