ECOS Zoom Speaker Series: Liz Mastrianni on plastics

Liz Mastrianni is professional engineer working for NYS Parks and is fortunate that most days can go for a walk in a park!
Like many of us, she said she wanted to recycle “correctly,” not “wish-cycle,” hoping everything put in her recycle bid would be re-used. After listening to Judith Enck on WAMC, she was motivated to learn more and took her class, Beyond Plastic Pollution, from Bennington College over Zoom.
She hopes her presentation will encourage you to learn more about how we have been deceived by plastic manufacturers and give you ideas on what you can do to make a difference!
