Exploring nature at the Glenville Senior Center

For the second year in a row, ECOS is bringing its decades-old nature walks to Glenville’s Senior Center. Weather permitting, we’ll start with a crash course in Northeast trees, then take a stroll in the woods to examine the relationships between the trees and understory plants, and ways the woods have adapted to suburbanization. There are also plenty of “invasive species” to identify and discuss, as well as our native northeasterners  (as gardeners already know, these can also be invasive). Our leader will be Betsy Henry, president of ReTree Schenectady.
