Fall walk: Woodlawn Preserve

We’ll take another trip around this beautiful selection of woodland, lacustrine, and pine barrens, to see what’s happening with this preserve-in-progress.  And hopefully see some gentians.  Most flat but sometimes muddy.  Co-leaders: Janet Chen and Steve Young.  Directions: Adjacent to Woodlawn Elementary School in the extreme southeast of the county, easily approached by following Gifford Road past the school to its end.  (1 Gifford Rd., Schenectady, NY 12304)
