October 19th Zoom Series Speaker: Tom Carey

Join us as we resume the ECOS Speakers Series with Tom Carey, who will speak on creating an environmental education hub in Schenectady’s Central Park!

Exciting progress has been made on renovating the old, abandoned Casino Building into an environmental education hub, reaching a wide range of people, right in the middle of Schenectady’s Central Park! ECOS is partnering with other organizations to help bring this project to life. Tom Carey has spearheaded the project. Join us for his update, forecast of steps ahead, and specifics on how we can all help.  

A Bit About Our Speaker:
Tom Carey is president of the Upper Union Neighborhood Association.  Tom’s background is in city planning. After a long career managing affordable housing and energy efficiency programs, he now spends his time organizing for change and promoting sustainable communities.
