Saturday Ski and Snowshoe Outing: Thacher State Park

We originally planned to explore the new trails at Rotterdam Preserve, but the trails are currently under water.

Instead, let’s meet at the Thacher North trailhead on Old Stage Rd. in Altamont. Traction spikes may be helpful.

If you’d like to sign up for our Saturday winter outing list, send an email to Andy Kulmatiski at [email protected]. Every Thursday you’ll get an email announcing the location and leader for that Saturday’s outing. Respond to the email with your name and phone number to sign up.

Participants meet at the designated outing location at 10:30 a.m. There will be no official carpooling. If the weather is bad, the event might be rescheduled for Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

ECOS participants MUST stay with the group. Bring your own water and snacks and dress in layers.
