Saturday Ski and Snowshoe Outing: Featherstonhaugh State Forest

The outing this Saturday will be a ski or snowshoe outing to Featherstonhaugh State Forest in the Town of Duanesburg, off Mariaville Road ( Rt 159 ). Turn south onto Lake Road, and find the parking area between Tidwell Road and East Hardin Road. On-road parking is possible. Because the weather is warming it is best to start at 9:30 to try and avoid sticky snow. Please plan to have equipment on and be ready to go by 9:30. This is an approximately 2.5 mile loop and the terrain is quite flat where we plan to be, mostly in the woods.
