Tuesday Ski and Snowshoe Outing: Featherstonhaugh State Forest

Will Seyse will lead the ski/snowshoe event at the Featherstonhaugh State Forest. This is in the Town of Duanesburg, off Mariaville Road ( Rt 159 ). Turn south onto Lake Road, and find the parking area between Tidwell Road and East Hardin Road.  Please plan to have equipment on and be ready to go by 9:30. The colder the weather the more important to be ready on time. Please don’t hold up a larger group in the cold….

Terrain is quite flat where we plan to be, entirely in the woods (protected some from the wind), and it should be a great day with winter conditions. ECOS participants MUST stay with the group. Bring your own water and snack and dress in layers. If you make plans to attend and are late or need to change plans for any reason please call or text Will Seyse at 518 369-4254.
