Second Sunday Bird Walk

ECOS volunteer John Loz will lead a bird walk at the preserve starting at the Whipple Bridge. This birding “hotspot” features a combination of marshes, bogs, ponds, coniferous and deciduous mixed forest. It is designated as a National Audubon Society Important Bird Area. The walk will last 2-3 hours and will be about two slow miles. Bring binoculars if you have them but if you don’t, we will have a few to loan out for the walk. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Well-behaved children are welcome. Please register by emailing [email protected].
