The Sun Goes Dark at ECOS: Solar Eclipse Walk

Our region will be treated to an eclipse of the sun at 3:26pm, with the moon’s shadow covering 97% of the other orb.  Please join us in enjoying this phenomenon.  We’ll gather at the entrance to the Discovery Center of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve around 3 pm, and make our way to “the Overlook” on the Blue Trail. We may take the opportunity to continue the trail, if it’s not too dark. Special glasses are necessary for observing the event; a few spares may be available.
