MAY 14 Skidmore Woods: Skidmore College’s North Woods has a rich succession of spring wildflowers. We may see bellworts and trilliums, also bloodroot, hepatica, many species of violets, trout lily, wild ginger, and blue cohosh, depending on whether we have an early or late spring. Nancy Slack will lead us through a maze of trails on land open to the public.
Directions: From the south, follow Rt. 50 north through Ballston Spa and on to Saratoga. Bear left on Broadway in Saratoga, continuing past the first entrance into the campus. Turn left into the campus at the second entrance. Follow the road as it curves toward the right, watching for Falstaff Parking Lot on the right.
